Keith, is that the exact spot where a concrete truck full of thermonuclear explosives ran off the bridge a few years ago?

Or is that the spot where a concrete bridge fell on a truck a few years ago?

(AND HEY!!! NO FAIR!! YOU CAN'T ENTER YOUR OWN CONTEST! WHAT IF YOU WON?!! :? )

I am not sure of the truck story. I only moved to Groton in 2003

I enter my own contest just because I like taking pics of Z's... I can't win.

I like your's Frank, but I already submitted my slides to Ross..... Next month I'll make the contest "Take a picture of your Z in peices". I am sure we'll get a few replys... You(Frank), Paul, Clayton, just to name a few...

I think I see the shadow of a concrete truck reflecting in his windscreen ~

Nice work, Phrog ~ congratulations on winning your first CTZCC award. That was a good photo, but that place is creepy. It looks like some old Siberian Prison or something. What did they used to make there, witches' wands or something?

Thanks guys, its my first award for anything to do with the car, haha.

I'll have to go do some research, but if I remember correctly it used to be a wire factory that was built just before WWI. Now I think private businesses rent space inside it.
