Smart? No. If I were smart I would be putting money and blood into a car that might be worth something someday. I fear RUST. I have looked it in the eye.

I took some photos of my Z today 11/28/09, with my stock wheels. This is the Island at the Marina (Island Cove Marina) with the CT River in the background.

A bit off topic - but I like this picture - and the "contest" is over anyway.

This is Mary Alice's KIA SOUL - IMHO it is really the 2010 Datsun 510. Dollar for normalized Dollar - about the same price as a 72 510 S/W was in 72.

I still remember the FDR State Park event where he debuted it. When
he fired it up everybody within 1/4 mile was looking to see what was
causing the earthquake............................

Hey Keith!
I'm curious...if you're going to store the car for the winter, why'd you switch the wheels?
Hope you've been well
Al

Because I can.... Actually, I also wanted to prevent those flat spots on the new tires if I don't get a chance to roll in and out of the garage for a while. Plus, I wanted to drive around a bit on the stockers to see if there was a wobble...there was none. I'll probably bring the two 18" front wheels to a shop for rotating and balancing over the winter. I also over inflate the stockers for the winter for storage.

Going to install adjustable front suspention parts over the winter to fix my alignment issues too!

I am well, sorry I missed the knickerbocker, I did not have my blues on that night. We should get together soon.

OK this is a total Photoshop creation I did, but I figured I would post after the fact anyhow. You know what happens to a Z when it gets near real water, don't you?
