The Zeason is almost over.... If you'd like to take another ride before the snow flies, I'd like to invite you to meet at the Marina Office I work in.

Why: Because we like driving our Z's and the people who drive them.
When: Sunday, November 2nd, 8:30am - Noon or whenever you leave.
Rain Date: Sunday November 9th
Snow and salted roads before will cancel both (I hope that does not happen)

Where: (off Exit 69 I-95)

I'll supply coffee(2 boxes of Joe), donuts, and some soda. We can do a coffee run if more show up.
I'll also bring my DVD of the History Channel's Story of the Z, if we feel like watching it, we can.

There is offstreet parking for up to about 20-25 cars if we double park. (I'll post a photo of the lot soon)

Next batch of club hats will be available for sale.

As the middle of the week approaches, Sunday's forecast looks good... I'll keep an eye on it.

Please feel free to sound off if you think you will stop by, it'll help me guess how much coffee and treats to get for Z travelers. However, no RSVP needed to show up. I'll be there anyway feeding the cat and Dunkin Donuts is close by.

I'll check in again late this week to confirm, and offer some directions.

Hey Keith ~ is there supposed to be a sticky poll on this thread? I couldn't find it if there is. It could help you determine quickly how many Z-ers to plan for.

I want to attend this. My car isn't road-ready yet so I can't bring it, but my Ford sure will make it there (and maybe back!). It will be good just to jabber with the members and Z the cars again. I have a small roadtrip planned for that weekend but should be back in time to do this. TELL YOU WHAT ~ don't buy coffee for me; if I get there I'll stop off and grab my own on the way in. Fair?

Thanks again for yet another good idea. How many hats do you think will be available? I've decided they will make really nifty Christmas presents! So many people have helped me with partZ for my car this year, I think these should help me repay them.

I am sure I can get permission to use the Marina for the photo shoot. The owner is a great guy and a racing enthusiast. He's got a picture of Paul Newman in his shop sitting in one of his own race cars back in the day (I'll grab the photo off the shop wall for Sunday). I 'd like to try a Meet here next Spring/Summer which could be a good photo shoot day.

Attached are some photos of our Island overlooking the CT river. We might be able to roll out there on Sunday for a Group shot if we have not loaded it up with winter storage boats. Rob Dillon has a great camera, mines only a 3.2MP. (there is a bridge)

I'll have 25 more hats with a Blue "Z" on them. I pick them up tonight.
