Cool right on rt. 9, I go that rt. all the time when goin to N.Y. so if the wife has no plans, count me in. I also work part time at a food distributor, so I get bulk at discount. It's the food we all eat at restraunts. So just a thought if I can help in that way.

Viper, while I continue to rebuild my 240, I routinely embarrass myself and my friends by arriving in an SUV. It's the people we want.......feel free to ride a bicycle if it will get you there :D

Great guys, glad to hear there is interest in a run to this side/middle of the state. I will be traveling a lot in August and might not be able to post here too much. So keep on responding and signing on to join us.

I'll take a ride up there Labor Day weekend and get you guys more details on the facilities (grills, picnic tables, where to meet, etc). I'll also talk to the satff to see if I can rope off a corner of the lot in the morning as we arrive.

There is also a neat little ferry that crosses the CT River from Chester to Haddam for $3. I need to look to see if we can get aboard with our lower profiles cars. Fits about 8 cars. Might be cool to load it up with Z's and take a few photos. Otherwise the bridge in Haddam is the best bet coming from the east. Have fun picking a route that is fun to drive.

Cheers,
Keith

My busy August has finally come to an end. It was fun but busy.

I'll take a drive up to Gillette Castle State Park this weekend check it out again and make suggestions for the proposed meet.

I also wanted this to go back to the top of the forum to keep it fresh.

I'll repost more info soon.
