Back in the days of the great Monte Carlo rallye, the Renault Alpine dominated the event, chased closely by a weird little beast called a Fiat Abarth Double Bubble. (Does anybody else remember this stuff, or am I lost in my own world? :cry: )

Wife and I were in Ireland 3 years ago and went to a TK Maxx which is TJ Maxx in the states, I spotted this and had to bring it home, Maisto model of a 1971 Alpine 1600S, has a honkin little 4 banger in the trunk, kind of looks like a cross between a porsche, ferrari and Z car. Almost the same color blue as the one at the show, must have been a popular shade for the cars....... Wish i had the real one.......
