We were informed that ZANY member Jeff Fox's Z32 was deemed a total loss in Albany this past week due do street flooding which backed up storm drains and rose manhole covers. Jeffs car was flooded up to it's door windows, He proudly displayed his white Z32 at our show, it was parked behind Keiths red Z32.... He also has a classic 240Z which is presently under restoration.

What a tragedy! I feel like we lost a friend or something. Hopefully the insurance will cover everything and he can splash some of the cash onto the 240 to accelerate its restoration.

I can't imagine what it must feel like to see that happen to your car, but I know hundreds endured it during Katrina.

What do you think Tom ~ should we hold a moment of silence or something?

I'll bet they try to weasel out of it under the "Natural Disaster / Act of God" clause. Depends on who insures him, I guess.

My luck would leave me with a worthless car, crying the blues.
I hope he gets covered. I might search the Web for a Cyber sympathy card to send him. We consider him to be "one of ours". He has done a lot during this year to generate CTZCC membership out of the NYS area, and we were very happy to see him and his crew arrive at our car show. I can't imagine how he must feel ~ he poured a lot of love (and money!) into that beautiful Z32.

Sometimes life ain't fair. You can do everything right, and Life goes wrong anyway.
