Hi everyone, I noticed this posting on another Z forum regarding a track day at Englishtown NJ on Oct 16th. There is a 50 car limit so it might fill up fast but at least we now know this is something very "doable" for us to organize as well. I think I might go ahead and sign up since it's so cheap! I read as much of this as they would let me see without being a member. Sounds like it's going to be a lot of fun, and well attended by Z cars from several states (it will probably resemble an invasion!). I had trouble linking into the main event, tho ~ would somebody please just state in 250 words or less who's racing, what the event is about, and if any dual-club members attend (such as Barry, Agner S or TurboDog) would they kindly bring back some pictures for those of us who can't be there? They just posted up the registration page. It has more info for anyone interested. http://www.ztechz.net/trackday/index.html Frank T, my wife will be taking plenty of pictures and I hope Barry will also:) Here's what the post on tt.net says: The date is set for Thursday October 16. Should a rain day be necessary it will be scheduled within 30 days. I'll have a website in a couple of days up for the event where you can check schedule, rules, download tech sheets, pay for your spot. The reservation is open to Z car owners and ex Z car owners first. Any open spots will be made available to other local car clubs. It will be $75 per car. You can paypal me. If you want to avoid the 3% paypal fee, you can give me in person in one of the local meets. Deposits are non-refundable unless the event is canceled. P.S. you don't have to be a member of tt.net to read the messages on there. |
