On Wednesday, May 14th, we will be having our next club meeting at 7:00pm at Nissan Darien, which is right off Exit 11 in Darien, CT (see below for more detailed directions). This will be an opportunity to network with other Z owners, meet our club sponsor and learn about upcoming activities. Bob Sharp will be in attendance and we will be showing the following films: • 1975 SCCA Road Race of Champions at Atlanta GA Profiles Bob Sharp racing and winning National Championship driving a B610 (day 1) & 240Z (day 2). • 1983 SCCA Road Race of Champions at Atlanta, GA. Film is called "At the Limit". Profiles Paul Newman racing and winning National Championship driving a Turbo 300ZX. In addition, Bryan Little will have his ’70 240Z inside the showroom and will walk through the process of updating his interior and mechanicals. This is a great example of a member-maintained and upgraded car. It is a stock-looking 240 with a high compression L28 motor, turbo head, modified SU carbs and a Nissan T5 trans with 4.11 rear end. If you are not a “purist” this is an opportunity to learn about how to maintain your car using factory parts from different models.
