I JUST HEARD ~ WPLR RADIO IS SPONSORING A CAR SHOW IN THE (EMPTY) PARKINGLOT OF THE SHOWCASE CINEMA IN ORANGE, CT, THIS SUNDAY (20APR) (TMRW!) FROM 10AM-2PM. SEVERAL ZCARS SCHEDULED ALREADY, INCLUDING THAT CONCOURS 1972 240Z WHICH CTZCC HAS BEEN HIGHLIGHTING FOR SALE IN THIS WEBSITE THIS MONTH (THE CAR HAS NOT YET SOLD AND IS DRASTICALLY REDUCED). EVEN IF YOU AREN'T IN THE MARKET TO BUY RIGHT NOW, THIS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO SEE HOW A 96-PT Z CAR LOOKS WHEN IT'S BEEN DONE RIGHT! REGRET THE SHORT-FUSED NOTICE. |

I got overcome by events and couldn't make it. I need to tailor my life to trim away a few hundred obligations, so I can enjoy some of these things! How many cars? How many Zs? How many girls? |

About 50 cars, 1 Z (me), A few girls but it was so cold it was hard to tell them from the guys. |

Mike ~ Too bad there wasn't a better showing, and/or it wasn't warm enough for bathingsuits. I had heard there were going to be other Zs there (including Greg's Concours 1972 ~ still for sale at a VERY reduced price). Anyway thanx for flying the "Z" flag! Did your "convertable-Z" draw any attention? |

There were a few guys that appreciate Z cars but the traditional hot rodders are into big V-8's and fat tires. We need to show them the finer things in Japanese machinery. There is a car show at a donut place in Derby every Sunday night. Open to all year cars, maybe some of the club members will show this year. |
