Late notice and far for many of you, but wanted to share this. It’s usually a good event with lots of different cars (both new and old) and always a few Zs/Datsuns.

I had other plans for the weekend that were cancelled so I am planning on attending with the Z.

Here is the link to the show/info.

I can't understand why they still allow dogs to attend their classic car shows. There's not a single good thing a dog can do to a 50 year-old, $110,000 classic car. Further, when enough visitors bring their dogs, some dogfights can be expected. Some people are phobic about dogs and many more are allergic to them, and a single dog bite will change anybody's opinion about an otherwise nice day.
People visit classic car shows to view the cars. Nobody cares about strange dogs except the owner.

Larz Anderson is a high class operation; I would have expected better from them by now.

I never noticed that - but you are correct and they do. I saw a few there, and most were on good behavior... but there was one rolling in the grass very close to my buddy Paul's immaculate 510 while we were standing right there. I was cringing just waiting for the errant claw to catch the paint... luckily it did not happen.

Turned out to be a beautiful day, a little chilly in the morning, but the sun warmed things up nicely. The place was filled before the official 9am opening - always pays to get there early! A great turn out of cars, with quite a number of new an old Zs. I think the New England Z Car Club organized a cruise in which probably helped. I focused on the older Zs. Here are a few shots.

Shameless plug for my car...

My buddy Paul's 510 - It was posted for sale at one point here, but he decided to keep it, and he is very glad he did

I ended up taking a number of "headlight" photos - very torn on whether to run covers or not on my car...

Another buddy of mine has this awesome 521

And right as I was about to leave, I saw a hint of orange pulling in... turns out my old truck made it back up here! The new owner is fairly local to me and also a Z car guy. Recently purchased a tribute 240z on BAT as well.

Nice cars! Looks like a good turnout too.
