Hello everyone. I am planning to take the Z out for some leaf peeping this Sunday. If anyone would like to join me, I will be starting at the commuter lot off Exit 9 of I84 in Newtown (Right Turn off the exit of 84W and Left Turn off the exit of 84E). I am planning for a 9:30 departure. I will be there around 9AM. There is a gas station close by with a grab and go if you need fuel or need to get caffeinated prior to departure. The destination is Lake Waramague in Litchfield County and depending on interest, further on to the town of Litchfield.

I'm planning for a 3 hour round trip. Let me know if you if you have any interest in joining me.

Well, the interest is certainly there, but the availability isn't. :(
Next time!

Sounds good to me Adam!

I will be there between 9 and 9:30. That is a favorite run for my wife and I as well. Looking at Google Maps, I presume this is the exit for RT 25 Hawleyville Rd and the commuter lot is right after Papa's Pizza?

In case you need to reach me for changes, my cell# is 203-751-3015

Thanks for posting this. I hope others join in on this!

Well my wife and I met up with Adam12, his friend Susan and his beautiful '93 Nissan 300ZX in Newtown and enjoyed a great day of cruising around some of the prettiest parts of CT. We headed up RT 25 to RT 202 towards Lake Waramaug, stopped for a few minutes to chat at the State Park there then headed out to Litchfield. We ended up at Arethusa's Sandwich and Pastry shop to "fill our tanks". The roads and scenery were just perfect for viewing the classic CT foliage.

Thanks to Adam12 for posting this fun run  Too bad more of you didn't join us. :(

Attached are a few pictures of our journey today.

Beautiful. Good plan.
I would have loved to go but I couldn't raise enough bond to get released, and this stupid bracelet interferes with my pedals anyway.

Howie, I thought you said "rich and handsome". That pursuit's what got me into trouble. :|
