I ship-out for Germany at Dawn's Early Light on Thursday morning, so Wednesday night will be filled with last-minute Preparation and Embarkation stuff, but I hope I get a few minutes to pop in and say hello/goodbye to everyone. If not, y'all have a great May/June together with the cars, and think of me when the piZZa is served!

Frank I hope you show up if I show up. Test drive this morning, will update......Everything I planned to do to the Z never got done, but did clean the spray foam off and surprised it looks as good as it does. With that said, mechanically I'm good, but thinking of renaming the 240 to "Dirty white boy" :? (Foreigner fan) might have a guest, I'll know later.

Frank,

I hope you can make it, if not, have a blast on your bucket list trip and enjoy that awesome bike. Ride Safe Buddy!

Paul ~ cool re-name.
Living on a bike for a couple months, sleeping in a different place each night, I want a German decal reading "Ramble On" (LedZep fan). And maybe another one which reads "Saddle Tramp" in German, but I'm not sure they would undrstnd the old-west meaning. Those hard saddlebags each hold about a cubic foot of stuff. Everything I need must fit in there or I buy new stuff as I need it. I'm gonna come home broke. Bring Big Al if you have room.

PreZ John ~ thanks! It's a 56 year old dream come true. I've wanted another BMW bike since I sold my first one in 1973, and I've wanted to visit Germany since 1964.

Z ya!
Frank
