Stay tuned.

My wife and I took the Z up to Woodbury today. The roads we took were all clear of sand and salt  .

We took RT67W from Seymore to RT6 into Woodbury. I'm sure RT 8, RT 84, and RT 15 are pretty clear also. More rain is scheduled for tomorrow (Saturday) but Sunday still looks good as of this posting with a high of around 60 degrees F.

So I am planning to take the Z again arriving around noon time. I hope to Zee you guyZ there. :D

Let me know if you are joining in by replying on this topic.

I intend to attend. Very likely in the Z, or in an SUV.

it's our first outing for 2022!

I am planning to go and one of my friends may also go, he has a 60's era Porsche.
Is there any place we could meet so we go in together?

I just talked to Johnnyz and we're planning to meet around 11:30 in the parking lot at Southbury Mall. It just off 84 at the exit for route 6 & 67.
See ya there.

Well, we had a good time at the Woodbury Brewing car gathering  Karl showed up in his 300ZX TT with his mechanic buddy riding shotgun. Another one of his friends showed up with his wife in their beautiful white C8 Corvette. As a wild guess there were maybe 150-200(maybe more :? ) cars of all types in the adjoining parking areas surrounding the brewery. Corvettes, Lambos, Ferrari's, trucks, motorcycles aplenty. The weather was cool and comfortable. I managed to grab a refreshing "light lager" with Karl and enjoyed the company of a whole lot of car enthusiasts. Many folks stopped by to chat about our cars which made the day that much more fun. It was a good start to the season. I wished more of you were there!

I had fully intended (and prepared) to attend this, but the whole house got sick overnight. Doing a little better today but not in time to let me drive up there. Were there any old BMW, JAP, AJS, Bultaco or Vincent motorcycles there? Nortons? Enfields? Any old 1950s Studebakers (or '60s Avanti)? XK-150 fixed-head coupes?
Wish I'd had the chance to sit and talk with Karl awhile. Haven't seen him in a while.
I'll bet you had the best 240Z there, John.

F

I'm glad to hear you are on mend

I did see some old Triumphs and Hondas, but I did not see the others that you mentioned. I did not spot any Studebakers, Avantis or even Jags, but there may have been some hidden around the convoluted parking areas. There were numerous Lambos and C8 Corvettes that showed up.

And I can claim without hesitation that I had the best Datsun 240Z there and Karl had the best 300ZX as well! (we were the only Z's there ) 8)

It was great meeting you guys! What a packed house! A great location, and a very large crowd. Hope to see you guys again at more shows.

Good seeing you at the show Miquel. Thanks for showing me your Nissan S12 "Syliva". I did not know much about that model. It's a small car with that optional 3.0L Z engine. It should move along pretty nicely!

Was it white? I snapped a picture of a white Silvia at a New Milford car show a couple years back....first one I had ever seen around here.

Frank, yes his car is also white but I don't think that is his car. I believe his car may be the one in the add for another show he recently posted in our website "Bring Back the Rads"

Miguel, send us thumbnails and a little description of your Sylvia if you don't mind.
