The Z gods have once again parted the mists and offered an invite to Jim Fredricks annual Christmas party outside of Tampa! I get to ride shotgun w/ Paul Mackin as we meander south for a week or so, no hurry, friends and family along the way. Other Club members slated to attend include ex-CTZCC Prez for life Ross Willams, Scottie Cole, the legendary Bob Sharp and Carl Beck!
Merry freakin' Christmas to me! (and of course all ya'll)

Al

Let us know if there will be another live stream video we can watch. Have a great trip and give Carl Beck my regards.

This is one of the greatest annual events of the Z world. Jimbo gathers Z people from many states for a day of fun and laughter. His 22+ car collection of 2-and-3-digit VIN 240Zs is the perfect setting for this annual party. Present are his #13, #16, and about 20 other very early cars. Our CTZCC is represented by several members each year, including Carl Beck, Bob Sharp, and Jimbo Himself.

Heyyyyy.....everybody wants to visit Florida during the winter! Go get yerselves a Christmas Tan and surround yrslves with Z people! 8)

This just in; Launch date/time from Pachaug Pond has been established at 9a Nov 29. Dropping an engine/trans in Jersey and then see how far we get, should make it at least to southern Va. on day 1 when the hunt for roadside BBQ begins. Zay tuned.

It would be fun if you guyz could keep in touch along the way. Certainly take your cameras and film all the Z people.

THIS JUST IN: Both Big Al and Paul have successfully wended their way as far south as Alabama, where they took refuge on Thursday night in some Good Samaritan's home. This trip is apparently really gruesome and is taking a horrible toll on both men, evidenced by the fact that when I spoke with them, neither of them could pronounce "ALABAMA". A couple of close-tries, but no see-gar. 8)

I have given Jimbo a heads-up warning so he might be able to offer them some kind of quick refreshments as soon as Our Heroes arrive. :P

SATURDAY UPDATE: Big Al reports he and Paul just ate too much BBQ with our members Bob Sharp, Jimbo Frederick, Carl Beck, Scotty Cole, Ross Williams, Dave Galban, Vince Corry and 'doZenz of others'. He put the phone on speaker and everybody shouted "HI" to us up here on the Frozen Tundra. Al feels like he died and woke up there. Says it's the highlight of his 2021 Z Zeason. Looking fwd to hearing all the gory details when he gets back.

I'm sure it was a rough assignment but hey, somebody had to do it.
Pity them!

I now have it on good authority that the Z-Mecca Annual Christmas Bash was a huge success, with over 60 cars full of Z fans attending. No casualties were reported and we are safe to assume the same number who arrived, departed.
Looking fwd to the return of our noble CTZCC members with their stories and photographic evidence.

I will post a more complete update when I return from Florida but for now, here is a photo of the CTZCC contingent minus Juan Marcos who I couldn't find at photo time.
