When Jimbo bought cars #13 and #171, he found #171's engine frozen. He had sworn to Rick that he would keep the car as absolutely original as possible. After months of gentle manual effort he was finally able to free the pistons. He tore the engine down and replaced the rings, bearings and necessary gaskets, gently honed the cylinders and put it all back together again according to factory specs. After manually filling the float bowls, this video was his very first attempt at starting it. The exhaust is still disconnected from the engine. It came to life immediately after 35 years of slumber.
Well done, Jimbo.

Well, it zeems a lot of people are having trouble getting out of Florida. Probably heard we had snow this week and decided to stay down there. I spoke with Big Al tonight who said he and Paul had holed-up in some kind little Irish girl's house for a night of home cooked food and Z stories. They claim they ran a pace lap around Road Atlanta in Little Red; we'll have to grill them for better details on that when they get back.
IF they come back.

How great to zee so many familiar faces together. I guess Florida is THE place to own a Zcar; year- 'round driving weather.
Thanks for representing us Ross, and welcome home. Next year the Club will have to rent a cruise bus and all go down together.

Ross, thanks for sharing the photos! Nice to see everyone enjoying the fun!

I didn't see a picture that included Lucky #13, did I miss it? Was Lucky #13 in attendance?
