Well, summer is over and our Zeason is coming to an end. I hope all of you had a chance to enjoy your Z cars this year and somehow managed to get together with other Z friends and club members. I thoroughly enjoyed this year’s meetings and events that we managed to have, given the prevailing conditions. I just wish we had more time in the year to enjoy our rides together.

I am pleased to announce that Paul Miller Nissan has agreed to host our last club meeting of the year. Many of you already know that Miller Nissan has been a long time supporter of our Z club. Jeff Wirth, Sales Manager of Miller Nissan and club member is excited to host another long overdue gathering of our club members.

Please review the following meeting details:

Where : Paul Miller Nissan, 930 Kings Highway East, Fairfield CT, 06825
Exit 24 off of I-95 N-S
When: October 13th 6:30-8:30PM – Weather Permitting*
Meeting Discussions:
1. New Member Intros
2. Website vs. Facebook
3. Fun Runs – Discuss possible “Fun Run” trips to close out the year
4. Fall Outing/Picnic – Hammonnasset Park?
5. 50/50 Raffle
6. Club member volunteers
7. Z stories – Care to share an interesting 2-3 minute story about your Z?

Miller Nissan will be providing food and beverages for our group meeting so PLEASE be sure to reply to this email if you plan to attend so they can plan accordingly.

I look forward to seeing you on the 13th!

*Please monitor the club website “CTZCC.COM” ->Forums -> Upcoming Events for any meeting updates.

Regards,

WONDERFUL! Thanks for making this possible, John.

Miller Nissan should be an outstanding place to hold our final meeting of the year. They always provide us with the most space (a whole garage to ourselves, several times), or their comfy lounge where Gary T and the crew showed us videos of their trip thru the Tail of the Dragon in their Zs, or let us play with their new super-fast garage door when it was installed. It raised and lowered lightning-quick, and we took turns running thru it fast enough not to get caught, laughing like kids.

I spoke with some of the guys down there last week and they assured us there would be plenty of parking spaces for us, because they have so few cars left to sell. So we should bring in as many members for this event as possible.

Being that close to NY and NJ, we usually get a great opportunity to Zee our brethren from those Z clubs. We've had really good turnouts at Miller, and because this is our final official fling of the Zeason, I hope we see many faces from out of state. They're all our members, anyway.

Count me in, Mister PreZident. I wouldn't miss this meeting for anything.

Z ya there!
Frank T

A NICE SURPRIZE!!

This meeting (Oct 13) at Miller Nissan in Fairfield is marked on the calendar. Barring any family surprises, I'm in!
JohnnyZ...somehow you managed to avoid all the scheduled medical appointments this month.
It's tough to get olde...right, Frank!
See all there,

Alan

Hi Guys, it has been a LONG time since I was on this website. I still enjoy hearing about the club and I am happy to see it is still alive. I am a long-time fan of Z cars. I drove a borrowed 74 260Z to my high school prom. I owned a 78 280Z for about 8 years but was forced to sell it.
I am going to try to stop by the meeting next week and say hi.
Joe

Over the years, we've had so many absolutely great meetings (and memories) thanks to Miller Nissan!

Gregg and Kyle Miller, Jeff Wirth and all the wonderful people there always welcome us without any hesitation.

I'm so looking forward to going back next week. It's going to be a great way to end this amazing season!

- Jim

Yeah Alan but it beats dying young. 8)

Joe P! How great to hear from you again! You would make my day by showing up for this meeting, even if only to steal some piZZa! I think of you often, and especially when somebody tells me they always wanted a Z and finally got one.

Frank

Well this is back in my old neighborhood, which makes it a long drive for my Z.

But I hope to be there without it!

Thanks John for setting this up!!!

It's a possibility.........with Z or without, that is the question to be. I have to pick up a car tent in Milford anyways, so might as well kill 2 birds with 1 stone. I have to do some measurements. 8)

["Would be great to introduce myself to the club"]
Well, this will be an excellent opportunity to do just that. One of the scheduled matters for discussion is NEW MEMBER INTROs, so you can claim your 3 minutes of fame.
Unlike an internet club spread over a large area, we are a real, physical group of Z lovers concentrated in a small state. We like to brag, "most of us know most of us", and introductions of new members at our meetings is the best way to do that.
Share a story about why you wanted a Z, how you found yours, or about your efforts to get the Z of your dreams. We love to live vicariously thru other members' Z experiences.
You won't be the only one introducing yrslf ~ since Covid shut down our meetings there have been several new-joins who will be invited to speak that night. We're looking fwd to Zeeing you there.

Frank T

Well looks like it will be the Truck......and an adventure. I will be picking up first a load of Z parts then heading to Milford to pick up a car tent to put said parts in plus a 260.
