I got a race day flex ticket, phew right before the discount expires tonight! I usually like to hang out on the top of the hill in the outfield, as close as I can get to the driver's club fence. I'll be on the lookout for you all!

Does anybody need a grille for a ZX? I got it probably a decade ago at Ross's house from the swap table. I never ended up needing it. Free, of course. Let me know and I'll throw it in the hatch.

Thank you for negotiating the discount! I go to lime rock for most spectator events, but knowing the CT Z Club will be there in force makes this extra-special.

The LRP event is coming up quick and I can't wait to be there! :D I hope to see many of you there as well!

My son Mike and I will be there on raceday Saturday, weather permitting, Monday if weather should be better. We usually hang out on the infield hillside facing big bend and the only left turn on the track hopefully with a shade tree near by and usually around halfway down from in front of the concession stand.

The weather report looks good right now, with the what's left of Ida clearing out of CT by Thursday. Yippee!

I also look forward to seeing our Z friends Sunday at the Gathering of the Marques, trackside. I'll be their with my Z by 9AM.

ZEEEYA!

I'm getting brake work done on my Z; no future in trying to drive up there and back with no brakes. I should be ready by next weekend. Vinny is down for a little longer but he thinks he can get me ready in time.

Hey John, hope we will see you. We usually hang out in the Uphill. Both Colin and my Z's were accepted into the parade Thursday afternoon, so hoping Ida gets out of the way, if not we will go Friday AM.
We have four camping sites for the weekend so make sure you swing by. Attached four site photo from 2019, from the Toyota Tundra on the left to my 1969 Eureka/Morsan tent on the right. Kids, Grandkids, 4th generation @ Lime Rock!
CTZ members Dave and Ginny Maxwell will be our next door neighbors. Devon, the 510, and the Datsun flag will be up the block from us!
Hey Frank... You don't need no stinking brakes.
Colin

With the impending rain, I went ahead and got a jump on the packing. Got most everything in the car except the last few little things, which should help with an early departure Friday morning (sorry neighbors...). Shooting to get to the track around 10 on Friday.

I tend to wander a bit through out the day. But almost always end up back there for the lunch break.

Great race day today! I was able to share this day with my son Mike, his daughter and her new college room mate (who had never been to any car race before). I also stopped in to see Colin Gentle (the elder) and his family at their campsite. Also saw Devon and his friends, Gary Booker, Jim Kinsella and his family. I think todays' weather was the best I've ever experienced at this track.

I hope to see more of you tomorrow at the "Gathering of the Marques".

ZEEYA!
