** - NOTE!! This Edit corrects the Lime Rock event dates previously posted.

I am pleased to announce yet another CTZCC event gathering at CT's very own Lime Rock Park.

Our club member "Tomwas1" was first to announce this event back on April 2nd. Since that time, we have met with the LRP management and as a result have negotiated a 20% discount on the events for Saturday Sept. 4, Sunday Sept. 5 and Monday Sept. 6. Please visit the LRP website for full details of each event. https://limerock.com/labor-day-historics

I am planning to attend Sunday's "Gathering of the Marques" event where our club members can gather with their Z cars and enjoy getting together again and viewing some beautiful machines which will be parked on the track with us for display. Members can also register for the "Concours d'Elegance" if they wish to "show" their cars and be judged. I am also hoping to be at LRP again on Monday to watch many of these rare machines race around the LRP track. I've been there many times before for this event and I can't wait to attend it again.

There is also a "Vintage Race Car & Street Car Parade" on Thursday, Sept. 2nd where participants will travel though the local villages for the public to view. You must register in advance (on LRP website) if you wish to participate. We were told however, that there will be a limited number of cars that can participate, so register early if you want to participate. If not, you can always drive to one of the villages and watch the parade go by. This is a charity event so no discounts apply.

IMPORTANT!
Attached is a summary of the events as well as the pricing and discounts as offered by LRP. Please note that you must email me at jkzclub@gmail.com to obtain the discount code when ordering your tickets through LRP. All tickets must be ordered no later than 5PM, August 27. Per LRP's request, please do not repost the code to others or on social media.

I hope to see you all on Sunday and possibly on Monday Labor Day weekend!

Good work John, thanks for setting this up for us. I'll be there.
Let me know if I can help out in any way.

Wow! Sounds like an awesome weekend!

Thanks for putting this together - and for negotiating a hefty club discount!

Can't yet say for certain that I will be there, but I sure hope so!

As of right now I will be there - Got a camp spot back near the Turn 5 Uphill - Will be flying the Datsun Flag high!

May or may not be in a Datsun this year... yet to be determined. Rolling out there solo this year so I wont have the wife in the support vehicle. I was planning on driving out in the 620, but not sure since it would be the longest drive it has taken. Thought about the 510 too since it has made the drive before, but that means I need to swap the rear diff and get some new rubber on the 15" wheels (unlikely to happen before Limerock...). Also depends on the weather...

Devon! C'mon bring the 510! We'll be there, near our usual spot. See you there!

We'll see how the timing, motivation... and weather play out! But a little peer pressure never hurt...

I've been going to LRP Sunday at the Park "Gathering..." for a few years now with a few car guy friends. It's a HOOT. And we'll be caravanning there again. Though they have other (non Asian) car's. And I will probably be in an other brand "A"sian car. I know I'll probably get harassments. But at least IT (vs brand) begins with an "N". Sorry Guys.

IMPORTANT!!!!

In addition to purchasing tickets for the Sunday, Sept. 5th Gathering of the Marques make sure you REGISTER on the LRP website so that LRP makes space for our Z cars.

YOU MUST REGISTER BEFORE AUGUST 20TH

I am not certain but I do not think HONDA and NISSAN both start with an "N"

That's true but, not what I said. If you read vs assumed you'd see
at least IT (vs brand) begins with an "N"... as in NSX

But I expected as much a Zing anyway. And probably deserve it for past Zinzzz.
