If I'm not comfortable with how the car is driving by then I might just trailer it up there. That way I can bring a bunch of tools and not be so far from home in a broken down car. We'll see though as I would definitely prefer to just drive the car there and back, not just while I'm there. If someone else is going up early Tuesday I would prefer to caravan.

Two possible plans:
1) The Auburn,Ma. mall is at I290/Mass Pike(I90). Good place to meet, from an east-central Mass angle.

2) Letz just crank to Jamestown RI and meet up w/ Paul,Ross and Robin. This would be by far the cooler of the two plans. Yeah, itz a little driving, but itz summer in New England,we're driving some of the coolest cars around and we're going to the Big Show!

All this being said, letz do this by phone instead of the dozens and dozens of posts this will morph into over the next couple of daze.
Gimme a call.

I am game for meeting in MA at the Auburn Mall. Lets make it the Sears side. Give me a time and I will be waiting. You will see the bight Nuclear Banana from a mile a way.

THOR,

I'm terribly sorry to hear about your accident. I was really hoping to meet you at ZCON this year and we could talk smack talk without anybody understanding what we're saying. I'm glad to hear you're alive and wish you a full and speedy recovery.

Viele Grüße,
Taylor

My P.S. turbo died 6/23 so I'm going up in the beater unless someone else is going about the same times.

I'm planning on leaving Hartford, being there on Tuesday and maybe one other day.

Anybody interested in going up or coming back from around Hartford Tuesday?

With all the banging, grinding and welding going on I did'nt hear your ring. Got the pass side floor pan tacked in and urethane moustache bar bushings in so still a good night.
Don't know what to tell ya...call repeatedly maybe?...I dunno.
At this point am leaning towards RI plan b,but who knows?
Just going up Mon for the opening ceremonies then back to Ct to pick up Rene' then back to NH for tue, wed, thur.

There is a separate discussion going on in another thread. I talked about having a stop in AUburn, MA at the Bentley Pub which is directly off the Mass Pike. Take a look.

Welding in floor pans.....shows next week, Al, your a trooper. :D I can leave anytime Monday afternoon........as long as we're at the hotel bar for happy hour. :D Well I'm still working on my Z as well.....got this terrible vibration still, but I'm determined the Rim is the culprit so going to look at tires today for other rims, who knows. She'll get there.

["There is a separate discussion going on in another thread"] Naw, Big Al and I are playing Phone Tag trying to set up where we're meeting. I'm still waiting to hear from Bryan Little and I'd like to hear from 3 or 4 others to zee if we can all group together before arriving at your rendezvous in Auburn MASS. Your plan sounds great, it's just the fine details before we arrive there which remain to be worked out.

If this was a City club (like ZCCR) it would be a lot easier to group everyone together for a caravan. But with members in every corner of the state and some in NY, NJ, MA and VT, it becomes a bit harder to arrange.

It won't stop anything ~ we're all going to end up in Nashua. But it's a safer trip if we travel in bunches for mechanical backup if needed. *And it's a whole lot more impressive to zee 30 Zs on the highway than it is just one*. 8)
