Does anyone know how to cancel ZCON reservations? I'm not a geek but they're sure not making it easy.

Al

I don't blame you, Paul. Why risk your life?
I don't know anyone who is going, now.
I will be interested in learning how many people actually attend, or whether they will postpone it until maybe next year. I feel pretty bad for all the people who put in months of work and planning on this, and may have to cancel it.

But we are still alive to drive our Zs.

Z's as in more than one for some us............say hello to Z #2, and staying alive to drive it is a good thing. At least I have plenty to do, no boredom here.

Jan and I were looking forward to ZCON with our Z-Friends. Nashville is on her bucket list. However, as many are now realizing, it is just not worth the risks. Especially now with recent increases of COVID between home and there, as well as in TN. Though it may seem insensitive to all the work efforts and plans to put it together, I do really hope it becomes postponed to next year. Same venue and original plans so salvage as much of the work as possible in the end. And that is not just a personal desire for us to make it there. I would hate to learn later on that even JUST ONE Z family attendee gets it and/or transfers it to any others there, or any of their friends or family after returning home due to exposure in TN or during travel transit to/from. Way to many invisible variables for a large number of people. Plus actions and exposures which are hard to get everyone following/controlling from their departure till return back to home. Oh well, Off my soap box. In mean time I wish Safety and Health to us all. Z Ya'll in future when the COVID Dust settles with cures and vaccines (or better just disappears).

Well, Gary T, Rick Morgan, Thor, Tengu, Karl, Jimbo Frederick, Big Al, Paul and I have decided not to attend this year.

Johnny Z, are you signed up to go?

It doesn't look like it will be much of a convoy from here. No idea whether ZCCR is planning to attend ZCon, but John T has retired as their President and they will hold no Watkins Glen/picnic/car show outing of their own this summer. Our member Clive Bogle, president of the NYZCC is one of the managing officers so he will certainly attend unless the entire event is cancelled.

As much as I would like to attend ZCON and to include the Tail of the Dragon as part of the adventure, I agree whole heartedly with Gary on this one. It's just not worth the risk. Stay healthy Z folks!
