YAYYYY! Let's see if we can gather a caravan to attend this. ZCCR puts on an outstanding event each summer and it's all for charity. We've attended with half a doZen cars in past years and returned with doZens of stories. New-joins really need to meet up with us along the route and cruise in together (Jay, buy another car!). Just the ride down to Watkins Glen together and 100mph laps around the race course are worth the weekend, but we also get food and music and a good hotel with a big bonfire and a car show and camaraderie with more than 100 enthusiasts from 6 states and Canada, and once they even arranged for a free rainstorm so hard it washed all the cars clean and actually removed some decals from the windows.

If you've not yet attended one of these events, you owe it to yrslf to make it happen while you're still young enough to enjoy it! If you've been there before you will keep returning no matter how old you get. Truly an unforgettable experience which will make you wait impatiently for the next one.

Don't take my word for it ~ ask any CTZCC member who's made the trip to this annual event in years past.

I'm in! I attended last year and had a great time.

As we get closer, let's coordinate a caravan. I'd like to leave for NY on Friday morning getting to Webster, NY in the late afternoon. There are some really nice back roads that are perfect for traveling with our Z's including a ride through beautiful Skaneateles NY. :D

I am also in, didn't make it last year and regretted it. Should be fun in the TT for sure, just have to remember no passing

My mechanic (who restores 911's) might also attend. 8)

In the past we've had good luck meeting up at the Hev'nly donuts on the Orange/Derby line. Any reason to change that? Big Al and Karl usually shoot a straight line West across the state on the highway, but many of us prefer to drive up the back country roads into Roscoe NY for lunch at the diner and a refuel for the Zs, then thru Homer, Skaneateles, and into Webster. We have met Howie along that route once (altho he had to wait for us awhile while we chatted with local law enforcement)

Heavenly Donuts works for me since I live so close, but I'd be willing to meet anywhere that works.

Hey Howie, are you planning to go this year? :?:

I connected with John T (ZCARNUT) recently and he mentioned that they "may" have another gathering set up for that Friday night at the Great Lakes Auto Restorations shop. This has to be confirmed. They did a bang up job hosting the Z folks last year, with food, drink and lots of eye candy. :D

Wow, it looks like we have a pretty good CTZCC group going this year!
